About the CampusFM Creatorship Program:
CampusFM Content Creators produce content for students, by students in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and this year, we're looking for students passionate about the agriculture industry, technology/innovation related to agriculture (AgTech), and rural storytelling. During this 12-week internship, you'll create compelling digital stories that include showcasing North Dakota’s agricultural innovation, small-town charm, and the future of AgTech. Through content creation, you’ll help connect students to their communities and highlight why young people are choosing AgTech careers and returning to rural areas.
As a member of the CampusFM team, you will gain hands-on experience in digital storytelling, social media management, and content strategy while building connections with professionals in the Fargo Moorhead area. Please note that this is an in-person internship.

Who we’re looking for:
College students from NDSU, MSUM, NDSCS, Concordia, M-State, or ND Tribal Colleges
Students currently pursuing education in ag-related majors: Precision Ag, Agribusiness, Agricultural Communications, Environmental Science, or ag-adjacent fields
Students from rural communities who plan to return to rural a community after graduation
Individuals passionate about storytelling and content creation - especially related to agriculture
Strong time-management, interpersonal, and communication skills
Comfortable being both behind and in front of the camera
Bonus Qualifications:
Current or former student leader involved with FFA or similar organizations
Interest in solving food insecurity
Working knowledge and/or experience utilizing precision ag, ag tech, or other innovations
What You’ll Do:
Tell the stories of rural North Dakota—highlighting AgTech, rural/small-town life, and community impact
Attend key AgTech events, such as AgTech Week (June 10-13) and State FFA Convention
Create engaging social media content to showcase why young people are excited about AgTech careers
Engage with local businesses, farms, and organizations to highlight innovations in agriculture
Collaborate with fellow Creatorship peers to develop compelling digital campaigns
Participate in weekly in-person training sessions to develop content strategy, storytelling techniques, and audience engagement skills
What You’ll Learn:
Content Creation: Developing skills in creating engaging and high-quality content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored for different social media platforms.
Audience Analysis: Learning how to identify and understand target audiences, their preferences, and behaviors to create content that resonates with them.
Social Media Strategy: Developing a strategic approach to social media, including setting goals, planning content calendars, and measuring success through analytics.
Digital Storytelling: Mastering the art of storytelling to craft compelling narratives that capture the audience's attention and convey brand messages effectively.
Content Optimization: Learning techniques for optimizing content for search engines (SEO) and maximizing organic reach on social media.
Community Engagement: Understanding how to engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster a sense of community around a brand or organization.
Paid Advertising: Gaining experience in running paid social media advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, and analyzing ad performance.
Graphic Design and Multimedia: Developing basic graphic design skills, video editing, and other multimedia production techniques to create visually appealing content.
Trends and Emerging Platforms: Staying updated on the latest social media trends and emerging platforms to adapt and experiment with new strategies.

Responsibilities:
Approximately 4-5 hours of weekly commitments, divided between training and content production:
Expected participation of 2-2.5 hours in Creatorship Learning Sessions
Allocating 2-2.5+ hours for active content creation
Other responsibilities include:
Mandatory attendance at weekly in-person Creatorship Learning Sessions
Timely submission of weekly projects
Collaborative planning and execution of content creation days with fellow Creatorship peers
Actively engaging in local events and happenings
Crafting engaging content for Campus FM's social media channels
